Questions people ask before they start

Are the characters real people?

No. Every character is an AI personality with a written backstory and a defined voice. They are designed to be engaging and consistent, but they are not humans and will always tell you so if you ask.

Do characters really remember past conversations?

Yes. On the Free plan characters remember the last seven days of chat. On Plus and Pro, memory is permanent, and you can view or delete anything a character has remembered at any time.

Is my chat history private?

Your conversations are private to your account and are never shared publicly. In this demo, messages are stored only in your browser and never leave your device.

Can I create my own character?

Yes, on the Plus and Pro plans. You describe the personality in a few sentences, add a couple of example lines, and the character is ready to chat in under a minute.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. Plans are month to month with no contracts. Cancel from your settings page and you keep access until the end of the billing period.
